Intricate Components
Part of engine test equipment for a major automotive manufacturer.
Maple machined this component in stainless steel to close tolerances. We programmed it directly from the client’s CAD model.
Asymmetrical Shapes
A component from an industrial gearbox.
Maple supplied this part with a lead-time two-thirds shorter than the original gearbox manufacturer. We also produced it at lower cost.
Large Components
A large housing.
This component is large (600mm ø) and heavy (400kg).
Spiral and Tapered Milling
Tooling for plastic injection moulding.
We machined this spiral, tapered component to particularly close tolerances.
Complete Assemblies
Testing station on a high-volume production line.
Maple designed this assembly from first principles to meet customer requirements. We machined and fully assembled the unit.
Very Short Lead Times
A torque tube from a test rig used to test aerospace engines.
Maple delivered this job within 2 weeks of receiving the drawings. The components have very thin walls and were machined to close tolerances, in terms of both dimensions and the position of mounting holes.
